Automatically mount USB flash drive to "/media/a"?

the mtools info documentation mentions it, but apparently the feature
was omitted in the descriptions for the individual utilities. You can
see the description by typing
  info mtools
in a terminal window, and following the links to Common Features -->
Drive Letters

OR you can use the graphical Ubuntu Help and Support utility to view
the mtools pages and following the equivalent links on the left panel.
