Pshaw!  You underestimator!

IIRC, the last time I got hit with automatic file system checks it was
because it had been 183 days since one of the file systems was last
checked.  I don't remember ever having auto fscks after X number of
reboots, and given how often the Linux kernel is patched (2-3 times
per quarter or more), it makes more sense to do a time check than a
reboot count check.
