Not really. This is a thread about someone who's switched to Windows,
and he's explaining that one thing he feels Windows has over Linux is
that it copes with multi-monitors better. This is completely relevant
to this thread and at least half relevant to Linux in general (since
it's comparing Linux with something else).

The fact that the thread is almost entirely off-topic by now is neither
here nor there really.

Yes. And this is a problem with Linux. It's not the fault of anybody in
particular, least of all Linux, but it is a rational reason for people
to be not using it.

20" is hardly laughably small, and there's no inference that he bought
it recently. If I had four 20" monitors, I don't think I'd feel
any immediate need to upgrade, either. I'm doing pretty well on this
11" or 12" one.

What? I'm sure most places are still carrying 20" and below monitors.
Many people don't feel much need for such a big monitor. Maybe you're
being a bit too exclusive with your vendors?
