lighttpd / can't bind to port: :: 80 Address already in use

i had lighttpd installed and working fine in 9.10, but after upgrading
to 10.04 i am getting this error when the server starts up:

Syntax OK
 * Starting web server lighttpd
        2011-06-01 09:58:40: (network.c.345) can't bind to port: :: 80
Address already in use

 [fail]


i used 'sudo lsof -i:80' but i didn't see anything already listening on
port 80, just some already-active connections i have to some websites....
