Will DDR3 memory freeze 10.04?

With intermittent freezing, the problem can be anything, including but 
not limited to the CPU (I offer that as an example, since I recently had 
to replace one for such a reason)... Unfortunately, there is no simple 
science or test.  If you have such a machine in production, (ECC, sounds 
like a server of some sort), that machine will simply have to be 
replaced.. Otherwise, your just trying wild guesses praying for 7 days.
