Problem with tor

I've installed tor, tor-geoipdb, privoxy and vidalia from the tor repositories. When starting tor from vidalia I get the "Connecting to Tor" progress bar which fills about 10% but then stalls. I can "Stop Tor" from within vidalia and then restart, but still can't complete the connection.

Here is the message log from Vidalia:

Mar 19 07:12:14.627 [Notice] Bootstrapped 100%: Done.

Any ideas on why I can't complete the connection and get tor working?
