Grub not working

Dave, getting back to grub1 will NOT help getting back Windows.
And I think it's time to move on.

If you want to try one last time, at Ubuntu terminal do this.
sudo apt-get -y install os-prober
sudo os-prober
sudo update-grub

If this doesn't work, you'll have to address the windows part now.
