I managed to get epiphany (Applications|Internet|Epiphany...) to play
the stream within the page window. You'll need to install epiphany if
it's not already (should be) and then also:

$ sudo apt-get install mozplugger
$ sudo apt-get install mplayer
$ sudo apt-get install epiphany-extensions
$ sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras

Then open epiphany & go to http://www.somnath.org/live-darshan.aspx

I am unable to get the stream to play in the window in SeaMonkey,
Firefox, and Chrome/Chromium - but that could be because I have multiple
other plugins in those, so I'll need to troublehoot.
