Is there a way to record everything that system prints out during system-shut-down

Hi all,

I just wonder if there's a way to post all messages about those
shut-down info somewhere in the filesystem.


I met a system panic when I halted my laptop ubuntu 11.04.
I captured the crash by my own eyes. It's related to flgrx. It crashed.

But i don't know how to record all those stuffs into a file.

E.g.
Write all those things (MySQL shutdown     (OK)     apache shutdown  (OK) )
