No confusion. The original poster asked this question:
How could I know if I am running a 64 bit version or 32 bit, any
command... or like that?
And the answer is arch or uname output. If i686, 32bit, if x86_64, 64
bit. His CPU is capable of running 64 bit software, his installed OS
does not.
Please don't confuse the original poster anymore, this thread has gone
longer than necessary!
