I just wanted to say that, on the Linux Mint website it is written that:

'This is Linux Mint 9, codename Isadora, based and compatible with Ubuntu
10.04 Lucid Lynx and its repositories.'

(at http://linuxmint.com/rel_isadora.php) which shows the Ubuntu is like
father of Mint, even if Mint **now** develop its own!

When you say, " I don't think that anything included in Mint can be
*impossible* to obtain in Ubuntu", I must say that everything is possible
which is possible in Linux Mint (only saying on the basis of the notes I
have read till now only, I must not be wrong, I guess....).
