Not arguing with this :-) but having dealt for many a year with - let's 
say, less "informed" - persons (and who even tell deliberate lies when 
asked for information :-( ) I now always try (I said 'try') to pre-empt 
any further questions and spending time on answering them by spelling 
out the obvious even if the person already has the knowledge (but did 
not display it when asking the question) :-) .
