The repositories are configured in the file /etc/apt/sources.list and 
files in the directory /etc/apt/sources.list.d/. I would suggest you 
chect that file on both your Ubuntu and Mint machine to find the 
appropriate lines to add to the other machine. But change it on your own 
risk - I can't tell you if Ubuntu and Mint are close enough. Here is
