Ohhhh, interesting.

Ok, I burned it to DVD via an external USB dvd drive.  When I rebooted it 
showed the third optical drive and clearly tried to boot from it, but 
ended up in rescue mode for the regular OS.


I selected "burn image.  burn from a prepared compilation, ie iso." from 
xfburn, not sure what I could've done differently.
