First FOSS event in Eastern India

Congrats for organizing such and event in BESU, Shibpur.

But I am afraid to hear from you that this is the first ever FOSS event in
eastern India (Westbengal). Is it so? I believe it's not.

My Maternal Grand Parents are in Kolkata and so I stay at Kolkata for three
months a year.Thus I was lucky enough to join in some events earlier in
this year 2012 (Session by Richard Stallman [Father of GNU/Software
Freedom] from FSF) at ISI, Kolkata and University of Guwahati, Guwahati,
Asham. Moreover there was celebration of Software Freedom Day (SFD) also in
this year 2012 at IIT, Kharagpur also.

Please get the informations right in places before announcing such an event
informations in public/mailing list.
