Ubuntu 12.04 LTS removing unity and installing GNOME

It is rather irritating isn't it?  It is however what happens when people 
think Ubuntu is only Gnome.  Ubuntu has many other very much nicer desktops 
than Gnome.  However, Gnome is merely doing a transition from version 2 to 
version 3.  Unity is kinda the unifying of the Gnome 2 to the power of the new 
Gnome 3
