Ubuntu 12.04 LTS removing unity and installing GNOME

Why i'm glad i've never used Unity?

I switched to xubuntu before unity came out as it was the distro i
preferred. I really like *buntu and have great admiration for Mr
Shuttleworth and what he's achieved.

Reading through this thread it does seem a shame that so much "heated
discussion" takes place. I'm sure Mr Shuttleworth is steering Ubuntu
down an appropriate path and that'll become apparent in future. Time
will tell.

I'm glad i joined the xubuntu crowd... all nice friendly folk and to
me if you don't like Unity then use something else. It really is time
to end this non-stop rant.
