Resizing

I find one thing strange below:
    The start and end of /dev/sda5 is 973217763 - 976768064,
	* but *
	the start and end of /dev/sda6 is 892379136 - 969025535.

Why the end of /dev/sda5 is larger than the start of /dev/sda6?
Shouldn't they rank from small to big?
