Flashgot is awesome, all you do is click on an icon and it will grab the 
video which is playing and download it for you.  You can even close the 
window, or even quit firefox and the download will continue because 
flashgot uses curl (I prefer wget) as a separate process.  

In fact, you can use flashgot to download anything, like Netbeans, in a 
very configurable way.  If the browser crashes, of course that has no 
effect on the curl or wget download.
