Is this on a server Bruce? I had the same problem with my server
install and the fix was to put a newer resolv.conf (from 12.04) package
in. Unfortunately I didn't save the instructions but if you can search
this list you should be able to find the thread. I don't have that many
posts so you could search for my name. I think it was about 3 or 4
months ago.
