Restoring the old gnome desktop

At least the Launcher no longer auto-hides. That fixes many problems. I
think Unity has potential. 

 

If only they would make it easy to turn off the menus appearing in the top
bar. (so that they appear in the program's window instead) Ah, then it
t'would be grand as a lass in springtime.
