FYI

surprisingly...I get this resolved simply by:

sudo mv /usr/share/doc/libglib2.0-0/changelog.Debian.gz 
/usr/share/doc/libglib2.0-0/changelog.Debian.gz-bup

now it works...I'm not sure if this bring other potential issues though...
