Well, I'll be hornswoggled. It does indeed work!

I wonder where that setting is stored? I have the entire .adobe subtree
set to read-only, so it isn't being stored there. I wonder also if it
will survive a shutdown/reload of Firefox? Too many active tabs to test
that right now :-)
