Maybe Jonesy was trying to point out that a time zone is not very
descriptive to indicate a time.
According to the log itself, the starting time of the event was:
"Meeting started Thu Aug 1 17:00:54 2013 UTC"
So a better way of saying the above would have been:
"It was begun by somebody at 10:00 on UTC-0700 (West Coast USA) time."
Pure speculation from my end, I must admit.
