Unity hiding open LibreOffice files

Design decision I believe. It's non-obvious, but when the launcher 
"jiggles" you'll notice that the little arrow to the left of it will turn 
from white to blue. I've no idea what these ui elements are called, but I 
think the blue arrow/- means there's some window event for that 
application that requires attention. Clicking on the LO launcher now will 
switch you to the LO instance that has the document open and the arrow 
returns to white again.
