Is there a way to modify /etc/security/limits.conf without a reboot?
E.g. if I add the following:
+root hard nofile 20000
+root soft nofile 20000
+www-data hard nofile 20000
+www-data soft nofile 20000
Can I just restart apache, which runs as www-data? I'd like to find a way
to avoid rebooting.
TIA.
