OK, I have now been given the URL you are talking about.

My first question is: what do you do with the material you get from this
site?

And second question: what do you mean by "I have been downloading
files....." - how do you download them?

If you left-click on the chapter name you will get the actual chapter on
the screen and when you then right-click the menu menu comes up where
you Save As - but this will give you the same name for each of the
chapters and you are given the choice of overwriting the file name or
you can alter the name in the file name box.

On the other hand, if you RIGHT-click on the chapter name you are also
presented with a menu but here when you go to Save As the file names are
numbered sequentially. Mind you, you don't the full name of the chapter
which is what you see on the URL page but you will get something like
hpb_03.htm for the story HENRY AND THE BALANCE OF PROBABILITY. But you
DO get the files correctly numbered.

One other way to get the chapters is to use ScreenGrab, an addon for
Firefox. Save the Whole Page (ie the chapter) and you will also get each
file having a unique number.

BTW, while you are still on the home page of that URL and you
right-click on the name of a book and select Save As you will get the
index.htm which is mentioned in the reply when you received from the
website.
