Apologies for earlier grumpiness. Apart from being a tad warm, it
seems that my test install of Windows 8 has overwritten the bootsector
of my primary hard disk, which contained my Hackintoshed install of
Mac OS X 10.6.

So now I have no choice but Windows; the disk with Linux on suffered
hardware failure.

You can understand how this has left me somewhat irritated.
