Just curious why the ping doesn't work:

I've been able to ping ie100.net in the past. Is there some form of DNS
lookup on my system which is causing that?
The primary dns is: 64.59.144.18
backups dns: 64.59.150.134
I'm connected via a universal wireless adapter of this type:
www.iogear.com/product/GWU627/
from which those dns entries are acquired, I assume, from the router.
thanks,
Thufir
