What do you mean by "won't run".  If you cannot record reliably then
try recording at low speed first to see if that is the issue.  Try at
4x for example.  However, given the price of CD-R now I suggest you
just chuck them if they are giving problems.  Unless you have a large
number it may just not be worth the hassle.
