It's a great deal more work to describe than it is to do :-)

The setup, once done, needs very little care and feeding (especially if
you use a TSP client). I've been doing this for years, and it's very
nice to be able to contact my website at home, my wiki at home, ssh into
any machine, connect to file systems at home - *without* having to
separately prepare to do any of those things. I do all those things via
ssh, so the filters are simple.

The best way to get IPv6 is certainly for your ISP to provide it
natively. But a tunnel provides a simple way forward that anyone can
use, at very low cost, and without any dependence on their ISP.
