sadly upstream gnome doesn't really want you to find such options easily
(and unity is still 90% gnome) ... so they have ripped it out from
"Appearance" and moved it into the accessibility settings (likely under
the assumption that if you want larger fonts you must be visually
impaired) ...

there is only the option to select between "small/normal/large" now, and
no UI to change the font face/type anymore ...
