How do I display those? I have a $ doing control/alt/f2. I tried tail
-f/.xsession-errors and says no such file.

tailf //var/log/syslog which says "incorrect wrapping key for
/home/gary10/.encryptfs/wrapped-passphrase and "error adding passprhase
keytoken.

Tried /var/log/Xorg.0,log and could not find.

This computer has 13.04 on it in sda5 and here it is 12.04 on sda7. I am
trying to install 12.04 on sda5. The present one has seen little use and I
can use it logging in as a second user so we should not spend a lot of time
on this. I would install on sda5 only as to not have a funny arrangement
on the harddisk, eg an unusable o.s. to the 'left' of the one I can use on
sda7. I have another inquiry in about the one on sda5 as having trouble
with install.
