As you suggested, I went there and found 5 files dating back to Nov,
2013, the most recent being yesterday. They are all identical:
oot at sentry10
root at sentry10
Received: (nullmailer pid 3951 invoked by uid 0);
Sun, 17 Nov 2013 11:06:11 -0000
From: Anacron <root at sentry10>
To: root at sentry10
Subject: Anacron job 'cron.daily' on sentry10
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII
Date: Sun, 17 Nov 2013 03:06:11 -0800
Message-Id: <1384686371.621317.3943.nullmailer at sentry10>
/etc/cron.daily/update-notifier-common:
flashplugin-installer: downloading
http://archive.canonical.com/pool/partner/a/adobe-flashplugin/adobe-flashplugin_11.2.202.327.orig.tar.gz
Installing from local file /tmp/tmpjWNv0u.gz
Flash Plugin installed.
I understand that I can delete them, but how can I stop them from
happening and giving all the errors. My machine has slowed a lot
recently, and I attribute it to all of these errors.
