I have an old e260 with a broken display. I just plugged it into
my Mythbuntu 12.04 system and it auto mounted the player and its
expansion card.

I can't remember which version of Rockbox is on it, but it is a
couple of years old.

"sudo fdisk -l" ran without error.

Does your device connect with other computers / operating systems?
I can't remember what all of the options for Rockbox are.
Is it configured as a mass storage device? Have you googled for
error 110?
