I need a good backup program.

Why does nobody mention backuppc?? (> backuppc.sourceforge.net)
It is easy to install, if you follow the guidelines and OK, it has a 
steep learning curve to get it to do what you want but otherwise it is good.
I have it running for > 2 years and have restored several directories 
from it, luckily never a whole partition but it runs without any user 
interference, making backups when you sleep.
