I boot clonezilla in the VM, clone the drive(s) to a network share, boot
clonezilla on the physical, and restore the images. 

Its easiest if the physical drives are larger than the virtual ones. 

Doing the same thing in reverse isn't too hard if you closely match the
physical's hardware in the virtual machine.
