No, had e2fsck induced drive failure, reinstalled new straight from a 
10.04.4 cd you can get from  linuxcnc.org, which has a special, and 
"pinned" version of the rtai patched realtime kernel.  Linuxcnc dies a 
horrible death if you change kernels because it needs hard, realtime 
interrupt capabilities 10 to 1000x better than a stock kernel can supply.
