UbuntuList: ".goutputstream-..." files

Ubuntu 12.04LTS on a Lenovo R60e laptop.

3.8.0-41-generic (#60~precise1-Ubuntu SMP Fri May 16 00:17:33 UTC 2014)
updated with latest Ubuntu I think; &;

If I missed an old post on this let me know...; So:

Why is this Home directory loaded with 0 byte ".goutputstream-..." files? 
Normally hidden of course!

I deleted hundreds in the past, they keep generating! This cannot be 
normal! The entries alone are overloading the drive. Any solutions other 
than to manually delete them periodically?
