Errors for users copying my ubuntu 12.04 LibreOffice3 files from my website to their MS Word

Unless there is some actual need for the people to have the files for
editing purposes I would use the free PDF creator to create PDF files of
the doc files.
 I have tried to import openoffice .doc and ODF in Word 2007 and 2010 and
get error notices in documents with a lot of formatting.
