Programs missing after update.

It's a bit rough blaming Ubuntu for a PPA change that removes a non Ubuntu
program. If it's not in the official repositories than Ubuntu has
absolutely zero control over what happens with regards to that package.

If you want your program to work with your version of Ubuntu you need to
contact the maintainer of the PPA. However from the note on launchpad it
would appear that they are currently looking for a new maintainer. So your
options appear to be limited to either upgrading, going without the package
or find someone able to maintain the package.
