Checking Mail. TB Ver 17.0.5

This is about using one action to check all selected mail accounts.

In the past I have simply pressed Shift-F5 or, clicked on the Get Mail 
icon to check all accounts for mail.

Now this is not so convenient.  Now I have three accounts that I wish to 
keep (i.e. not delete), but not to check for mail or attempt to check 
for mail this month.

In the past I remember having the capability to indicate via a check box 
whether or not a particular account would be checked in response to the 
above Shift-F5 or mouse click.  Today I wish to unckeck those three 
accounts, so as not to attempt collecting mail, but I cannot find the 
feature.

Has the feature disappeared?
Did I see it in perhaps an earlier version of TB?
