Hi,

My laptop's fan wont start from cold, I have to reboot after first boot
and the CPU has a temp for the fan to work, I think there is an error in
the ACPI communication between the kernel and BIOS ! when I investigate
I am told to upgrade my BIOS (even though it's the latest as of end of
March 2014!) nothing to do with Linux / Ubuntu all my machine!!!!
Don't want to sound pleased about you having similar problems (on a far
newer machine by the sounds of it) but at least it aint just me ;D
