Are you printing them with Firefox? This is a bug in Firefox 
29 it is suppose to be fixed in Firefox 29.0.1 but it has 
not come out in the updates for 12.04 LTS yet. So for now my 
solution is they will print with Chrome or Adobe Acrobat 
just fine. If I need a pdf to print I either download it and 
print it or switch to google chrome.
