14.04 upgrade problems

John,

Are you running Xubuntu (Xfce) by any chance? I am, and I have that same 
problem at login (It started once I had installed Xubuntu via sudo 
apt-get install xubuntu-desktop). It doesn't tell me what the program is 
(It might someday, when the Ubuntu feels like it ;-) ), but it is quite 
annoying.

My specs: 32-bit Ubuntu/Xubuntu, Intel Atom CPU (1.6Ghz * 2), 130Gb HD.
