The config looks OK at first glance. Not sure about the winbind options,
nor whether you should be permitting ntlm authentication.

What error messages are you seeing on the windows machines?

What does the Samba log say about the connection attempts (increase your
debug level if necessary)?

"Not working as requested" is a very vague description. Be specific!
What EXACTLY did you expect, and what EXACTLY is actually happening?
