Nautilus Always Opens Showing Hidden Files and Folders

I don't know how it happened, or when it happened, but everytime I open 
Nautilus again, it shows hidden files and folders.  I hit Ctrl + H and 
hide them, but restarting brings them back.  Where am I to change this?

Keep in mind, there are times when I will hit Ctrl + H to SHOW the 
hidden stuff, but by default I want them to stay hidden.
