Upgrading to 14.10

It depends on what is your current version. I'm going to suppose you are
running 14.04. In this case, you need to go in the repositories manager
and tell it to update to "Any release" rather than "Only LTS
releases"... And then when 14.10 is available, it will offer you the
possibility to upgrade... and it will be seamless.
