Subscription problems and gmane

No the 'not subscribed' messages are from the list. I get an email
saying that the message bounced and the reason was only subscribers can
post. The time before this happened, the message that bounced was a
reply I was making to a thread I started. I pointed this out to the
moderators. They looked and saw I was correct, but they could still not
find me in the database of subscribers, go figure. They must have
subscribed me because after the email exchange I can post again. I use
gmane on 3 other lists and never have had the problem there.
I have mine set to dl a max of 2000 and never seemed to have a problem
with it and I haven't done that in quite awhile.
