Yes, I have tried that. No effect.
I also tried MANY other things like "apt-get update" / "apt-get upgrade"
sudo apt-get install linux-image-3.13.0-37-generic
using Synaptic install / reinstall "linux-image-3.13.0-37-generic" (this
is package apparently causing problems)
...
just about EVERYTHING I could find
The error always remains the same.
I am already considering (again!!!) to reinstall the whole thing ...
But if you have to reinstall the entire system, loosing everything with
it, EACH time one tries to install a piece of software
and then runs into all those errors ...
that precludes any chance of using Linux for work, doesn't it?
